Which phone's got two cameras, a shiny glass back and resists water? (Hint: It's not Samsung.) This is the LG V30, a phone that gives Samsung's Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus a run for their money. It's LG's new flagship phone, and the first in a long time with a vibrant OLED screen. (It's P-OLED, for "Plastic OLED", to be exact.). And like other LG phones, it's got the company's trademark fingerprint reader / power button around back. But unlike LG's previous G6 phone, the new V30 is slim and stylish, with a curved glass back and a shiny silver band.
Combined with the nearly all-front display, it's no surprise we keep getting asked if we're using the new iPhone X, (Unlike last year's V20, the V30 doesn't have a secondary screen.), The V30's dual cameras take some pretty great shots, rich and detailed -- and one of them has a wide-angle lens for landscapes and spacious interior shots you can't easily get with any other phone, And you won't have to give up your wired headphones: Not only does the LG V30 have a 3.5mm headphone jack, it sounds fantastic thanks to a dedicated quad digital-to-analog flexible impact-resistant case for iphone 6/6s converter inside..
The 6-inch screen makes the V30 a pretty large phone, and not terribly easy to use with one hand, unless that hand's pretty big. Still, the V30 can probably fit into your jeans pocket. The polished metal band isn't easy to grip, and the rough edges around the USB-C port dug into my finger a bit. The metal volume buttons have a satisfying click. The phone's glass back catches the light beautifully, exposing the texture of the material underneath. Just a shame about that AT&T logo. LG sells an unlocked version for roughly the same price that works on every network.
Google job search has new salary features, Google is also trying to get more salary information posted on job listings, Right now, the company said, more than 85 percent of listings are missing that kind of information, So now Google is using data from sites including Glassdoor, PayScale and LinkedIn to include estimated salary ranges on job flexible impact-resistant case for iphone 6/6s posts, Google is the king of search, but when it came to searching for jobs, people told the company it was harder than trying to find other stuff online, said Nick Zakrasek, product manager for Google for Jobs..
"It's hard to imagine search that has more impact than trying to find a job for yourself," Zakrasek said in an interview. "This was perhaps the area we were least invested, relative to its importance."Helping people find jobs has been top of mind recently for Google. Last month, CEO Sundar Pichai went to Pittsburgh to unveil new initiatives aimed at training and educating workers to help them find jobs and grow their businesses, and he said Google was pledging $1 billion toward the effort. The company will spend the money over the next five years to fund grants to nonprofits globally as part of efforts to prepare people for the "changing nature of work."One of the initiatives, called Grow with Google, aims specifically to help US workers by giving them access to Google products and in-person training sessions. The company is hosting a tour of sessions, which kicked off earlier this week in Indianapolis, Indiana.
